Building SATELLITE is simple on enterprise linux or debian/ubuntu linux or freebsd. The build dependencies you have to install are below:
ENTERPRISE LINUX BUILD DEPENDENCIES
sudo dnf install --enablerepo=crb gtk4-devel vte291-gtk4-devel pkg-pkg-config
vte291-gtk4-devel is in CRB
DEBIAN/UBUNTU BUILD DEPENDENCIES
sudo apt install libgtk-4-dev libvte-2.91-gtk4-dev pkg-config
ARCH LINUX BUILD DEPENDENCIES
gtk4 vte4
FREEBSD BUILD DEPENDENCIES
gmake gtk4(if available, you may not be able to build) libvte(if available)
GCC libstdc++ from portsthen run make from the project directory
and run ./install.sh from the root of the project directory
you now have satl, satl-term and .satl file icons!
